Cloth Simulation – RINGANA Moisturiser Draped in Fabric
Personal project, 2025 – cloth simulation in Cinema 4D, rendered with Octane Render.
About the project
This personal project from 2025 is another test of Cinema 4D's native cloth simulation – this time featuring a product from the cosmetics brand RINGANA. RINGANA is a premium brand in the referral-marketing segment, known for its purist, natural design.
At its center is a moisturiser surrounded by soft, flowing fabric. The goal was again a polished, advertising-ready image – this time in the context of a real product brand rather than a free experiment.
Technique
The fabric was simulated using Cinema 4D's cloth tag, which handles draping, collision with the product and the material's natural motion.
The scene was rendered with Octane Render, capturing the fine texture of the fabric as well as the bottle's lighting and materials in high detail – key to the calm, premium look of this piece.
