Cosmetics Product Spot – Green Splash with LiquiGen
Personal project, 2024 – simulated with LiquiGen, rendered with Octane Render in Cinema 4D.
About the project
This personal project from 2024 is a product spot in the style of classic cosmetics advertising. A green tube stands on a dark, glossy surface, then green liquid splashes up around it in a ring and envelops it.
The short clip alternates between the wide shot, where product and splash work together, and close-ups in which the liquid sweeps over the tube and its surface glistens in the light.
Technique
The liquid was simulated with LiquiGen by JangaFX. The tool calculates liquids in near real time, so the shape and timing of the splash can be adjusted quickly.
Simulation and product were assembled in Cinema 4D and rendered with Octane Render. The dark background and carefully placed highlights make the green liquid and the product stand out clearly.
