Mercedes CLS – Driving at Dusk

About the project
This personal project from 2023 shows a Mercedes CLS on a country road in the soft light of dusk. Power pylons, cables and street lights form a simple, almost graphic backdrop for the car.
The clip is set up in a vertical format and alternates between side tracking shots, the front view with glowing headlights and close-ups of wheel and bodywork – short, varied shots typical of social media formats.
Technique
Scene, camera moves and vehicle animation were created in Cinema 4D. The shots are edited so that they start over as a seamless loop.
Rendering was done with Octane Render. Backlight, haze and the reflections of the evening light on the silver paint define the look, while motion blur and depth of field add dynamism.
